Changed traffic conditions on Brenan Street and Cumberland Highway intersection, Smithfield

There will be changed traffic conditions at the Brenan Street and Cumberland Highway intersection in Smithfield for safety improvements work to part of this intersection.

The work is being carried out to improve visibility of the traffic lights and pedestrian safety when crossing the road.

Work will take place over six night shifts between Tuesday 12 March and Tuesday 9 April, weather permitting. Working hours will be between 8pm and 5am from Sunday to Thursday. No work will occur on Friday or Saturday nights.

Lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h for the safety of road users and our workers. 

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
