Changed traffic conditions on Hassall Road, Buxton

Road users are advised of changed traffic conditions on Hassall Road between East Parade and Jumbunna Place, Buxton from Thursday 5 December to Thursday 12 December, weather permitting.

This work will involve replacing existing speed limit signage and road markings to assist with a speed limit change, the current 60km/h area will be reduced to 50 km/h.

There will be no changes to the length or position of the school zone associated with Buxton Public School which runs from 190m east of East Parade to 200m west of Jumbunna Place on Hassall Road in both directions.

Our day work hours will be between 7am and 6pm and our night work hours will be between 8pm and 5am. No work will occur on Friday or Saturday nights.

There will be temporary traffic changes to make sure the work zone is safe. Lane closures and a 40km/h speed limit will be in place for the safety of our workers and motorists.

Traffic controllers will be on site to assist road users and pedestrians.
