Changed traffic conditions on the Hume Motorway at Menangle Park

Changed traffic conditions will be in place for Oversized and Overmass (OSOM) vehicles on the Hume Motorway at Menangle Park. Traffic changes will be in place from Sunday 11 February to Sunday 14 April between 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday (weather permitting and excluding public holidays), to allow for safety barrier and pavement works in the ‘Dust Bowl’ OSOM pullover area.

There will be lane closures with traffic control managing vehicles entering and exiting the pullover area and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h for the safety of workers and road users.

OSOM vehicles wider than 3.8 metres will be required to contact the project team on the below at least 1.5 hours before approaching the ‘Dust Bowl’ to arrange access through the work site and pullover area:

  • 0458 805 007 from 11 February to 23 February
  • 0467 805 511 from 24 February to 14 April

OSOM pullover location: The Dust Bowl: 1.5 kilometres north of the work site.
