Changed traffic conditions on Moses Street, Cox Street and Hawkesbury Valley Way, Windsor
Road users are advised of changed traffic conditions on Moses Street, Cox Street and Hawkesbury Valley Way, Windsor to carry out work to improve safety at the intersection.
Work will be completed over six nights between Sunday 21 July and Thursday 8 August,weather permitting. Working hours will be between 7pm and 5am from Sunday to Thursday.
There will be temporary traffic changes to make sure the work zone is safe. Lane closures and a 40km/h speed limit will be in place for the safety of our workers and motorists.
Side streets will be closed and detours in place due to limited working space. Signs will indicate the routes that need to be taken. Local roads will re-open at the end of each shift.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
Once work is completed it will no longer be possible to:
- turn right from Hawkesbury Valley Way eastbound into Cox Street
- turn right from Hawkesbury Valley Way westbound into Moses Street
- turn right from Moses Street westbound into Hawkesbury Valley Way, or
- turn right from Cox Street eastbound into Hawkesbury Valley Way.
Instead, a two minute detour will be required.
We will also permanently remove a single parking space on the western side of Moses Street where it joins Hawkesbury Valley Way.
Driving across Hawkesbury Valley Way from Moses Street to Cox Street will also no longer be possible (except during a declared flood emergency when bollards are removed).
