Changed traffic conditions on St Andrews Road, Varroville

Road users are advised of a new school zone for St Sava College on St Andrews Road, Varroville from Wednesday 8 January 2025.

The work will involve installing new school zone static and flashing signs, and ‘40’ road markings on St Andrews Road either side of the entrance driveway to the school.

Work will be completed betweenWednesday 8 January and Friday 31 January, weather permitting.

We will be on site for up to two day shifts to carry out the sign changes and one night shifts to complete the new road markings.

Day work hours will be between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Night work hours will be between 8pm and 5am Sunday to Thursday.

The new 40km/h school zone will come into effect on Term 1, 2025 and will operate between 8am and 9.30am, and between 2.30pm and 4pm on normal school days. 

There will be temporary traffic changes to make sure the work zone is safe. Lane closures and a 40km/h speed limit for the safety of workers and motorists.
