Coffs Bypass engagement team seeking feedback

Published
The Coffs Harbour Bypass team is again keen to hear from residents on how engagement with the community is going and people’s thoughts on any improvements that could be made.

Twice a year the bypass team surveys the community to get feedback on the quality of the information it provides, its engagement and its processes.

Transport for NSW Regional Director North Anna Zycki said that following the last survey in May, the team developed a soon-to-be-released innovative digital planning portal to communicate temporary construction and final traffic operational access arrangements.

“The team has started online webinars to improve accessibility to the project team, explain how it’s building the bypass and update people on progress,” Ms Zycki said.

“It also developed a take-home map of the project alignment that incorporates detailed design changes and key features, including shared paths and noise walls, and refined its approach to closing out complaints and enquiries.< /p>

“The community came to the team with practical and achievable ideas, and we were pleased to be able to put these in place.

“We’d now like to know if people would like other changes that might improve our engagement with the community and, where we can, we will be happy to implement those.

“This project is for the community, and we want to work with people to get the best community outcomes.”

The current survey is open until midnight Sunday 1 December. Feedback should only apply to the period between July and November this year.
