M4 Tunnel closed for filming this weekend

Motorists are advised that the M4 Tunnel around Sydney Olympic Park and Ashfield will be closed this weekend while filming is carried out.

The tunnel will be closed eastbound between Homebush Bay Drive and Parramatta Road from 7pm to 4am Sunday 26 February and again from 9pm to 4am Monday 27 February.

The M4 Motorway eastbound on-ramp from Concord Road (north and southbound city bound only) will also be closed during these times.

The M4 Motorway eastbound onramp from Homebush Bay Drive will be closed from 9pm to 4am on both nights and traffic will be diverted to Parramatta Road via Marlborough Road loop.

Eastbound motorists from M4 motorway will exit onto Concord Road and Parramatta Road, Strathfield.  Westbound motorists will not be affected.

Maintenance work will also be carried out in the new M4-M8 Link tunnel both directions as follows:

  • Monday 27 February – 9pm to 4am
  • Tuesday 28 February – 9pm to 4am
  • Wednesday 1 March – 9pm to 4am
  • Thursday 2 March – 9pm to 4am

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.
