New era for Moss Vale Station as $29 million upgrade wraps up

Published

The NSW Government has delivered safer and more accessible public transport across NSW, with upgrades to Moss Vale Station now complete.

Moss Vale Station opened to the public on 2 December 1867, making it one of the state’s oldest railway stations. Now, 157 years later, the NSW Government has brought it into the 21st century, with a community celebration held on Saturday to mark the completion of the upgrade, delivered through the Safe Accessible Transport (SAT) program.

The project has transformed Moss Vale Station into a safer, more accessible precinct that better meets the needs of the entire community, including people with disability, limited mobility, parents and carers with prams, and passengers with luggage.
