Rail Repair Plan trackwork heads North

Passengers are urged to plan ahead this weekend as essential Rail Repair Plan trackwork will take place on parts of the T1 North Shore and T9 Northern Lines.

Sydney Trains will have more than 900 workers undertaking a significant amount of work to remove around 100 high-priority defects.

On the T1 North Shore Line, buses replace trains between Berowra and Hornsby.

On the T9 Northern Line, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Strathfield.

Passengers are encouraged to allow for extra travel time and plan ahead by visiting transportnsw.info or using trip planning apps.

Intercity services

On the Central Coast & Newcastle Line, buses replace trains between Newcastle Interchange and Hornsby.

On the Hunter Line, buses replace trains from Scone or Dungog and Newcastle Interchange.

On the Southern Highlands Line from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, buses replace trains between Moss Vale and Campbelltown.
