Speed limit reductions in Berkshire Park from 7 May 2025

Road users are advised of speed limit reductions on St Marys Road, Stony Creek Road, Sirius Place, Government Road, Sixth Road, Fifth Road, Fourth Road and Third Road, Berkshire Park, with work starting from Wednesday 30 April 2025.

Work involves replacing existing speed limit signs and road markings to assist the following speed limit changes:

  • St Marys Road between Richmond Road and South Creek
    • The current 80km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h
  • Stony Creek Road between South Creek and approximately 270m south of Sirius Place
    • The current 80km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h
  • Western end of Sirius Place to St Marys Road
    • The current 70km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h
  • Between the southern end of Government Road and St Marys Road
    • The current 70km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h
  • Sixth Road between Llandilo Road and Government Road
    • The current 70km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h
  • Fifth Road between Llandilo Road and Government Road
    • The current 70km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h
  • Between the southern end of Fourth Road and Llandilo Road
    • The current 70km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h
  • Between the southern end of Third Road and Llandilo Road
    • The current 70km/h zone will be reduced to 60km/h

The signs will be installed and covered until all work can be completed by 7 May 2025. The signs will then be uncovered and the new speed limit enforceable from that date.
