Transport for NSW Traffic Alert - Impacts to Mortlake Ferry services

Motorists are advised of impacts to Mortlake Ferry Services this week due to planned protected industrial action (PIA).

The Maritime Union of Australia is conducting PIA in relation to Birdon Vehicular Ferries, the contractor operating on behalf of Transport for NSW.

Ferry services will be impacted on Thursday 8 February between:

• 6AM and 8AM
• 2PM and 4PM

Emergency services needing to cross the river will not be affected by the disruption and will be able to cross.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use services outside of these hours, or use an alternative route via Ryde Bridge.
