Weekend Rail Repair Trackwork

Passengers are urged to plan ahead this weekend, 10-11 February, as essential Rail Repair Plan trackwork continues to build a more resilient and reliable network.

On both Saturday and Sunday buses will replace trains between Cronulla, Waterfall and Sydenham on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line.

Sydney Trains will have around 915 workers undertaking a significant amount of work to remove 16 high-priority defects over this period.

Some trains may run to changed stopping pattern and timetable. Passengers may need to change trains and are encouraged to allow extra travel time and plan ahead by visiting transportnsw.info or using trip planning apps.

Intercity Services

On the South Coast Line, buses replace trains from Dapto and Port Kembla to Central on both Saturday and Sunday

On Saturday, buses will replace trains on the Hunter Line from 9pm to 3ambetween Newcastle Interchange and Telarah.
