NYE on the Cahill Expressway 2025: Ballot is now closed!

Each year Transport for NSW offers NSW residents the chance to enjoy Sydney’s famous New Year’s Eve fireworks from one of the best vantage points in the city – the Cahill Expressway.

The ballot for tickets has now closed. Thank you to everyone who entered this year. Winners are now being randomly selected, and we wish you the best of luck.

If you are successful, you will receive an email between Monday 13 October and Friday 5 December 2025 with details on how to redeem your tickets.

You will have two weeks to redeem your tickets otherwise the tickets will go back into the draw.

If you are unsuccessful in securing tickets, you can visit the Sydney NYE website to check out other vantage points to view the NYE fireworks.

Ned co-wrote 5 songs on Guy Sebastian’s No. 1 Australian album ‘100 Times Around the Sun’ including the hit single ‘Maybe’. ‘Self Defence’ is his debut single.

Rachael Fahim

Rachael is one of the highest streamed Australian female country artists, and won the Tamworth Country Music Festival’s Toyota Star Maker Award in 2017.

Rachael is currently on tour with Pete Murray playing 56 shows across the country. She will be joining Missy Higgins on Sunday Oct 5th for Night At The Barracks, in Manly (NSW) as well as headline her own TCMF show in Tamworth, at Moonshiners on January 21st, 2026. She will also be appearing at the exciting new Strummingbird Festival.
