NSW Freight Transport Advisory Council

About the NSW Freight Transport Advisory Council

The NSW Freight Transport Advisory Council (FTAC) is a newly established ministerial advisory council reporting to the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads. It replaces the Freight and Logistics Advisory Council and the Road Freight Industry Council.

The council provides advice to the Minister on the coordination and multi-modal planning, regulation, development and operation of freight transport, infrastructure and network services across NSW.

Established with an end-to-end freight transport approach, the council works towards enhancing and balancing the benefits of every mode servicing our communities, industries and economy and provide strategic advice that actively supports integrated connections with industry, sustainability, economic growth, planning and infrastructure initiatives.
