Motor vehicle accidents
In circumstances where a solicitor has been engaged to commence or defend proceedings relating to a motor vehicle accident, the solicitor can request the registration details of a particular vehicle or driver or CTP insurer details by completing a Form 1046 Request for Information by Solicitor - Vehicle Accidents and and emailing it to inforelease@transport.nsw.gov.au
Vessel accidents
In circumstances where a solicitor has been engaged to commence or defend proceedings relating to a vessel accident, the solicitor can request the details of a particular vessel or licence holder by completing a Form 1757 Request for Information by Solicitor – Vessel Accidents (PDF, 310.54 KB) and forward to either:
