King Street Wharf Bus and Coach Layover

The King Street Wharf Bus and Coach Layover is for TfNSW Accredited Bus and Coach Operators ONLY.

Only Transport for NSW (TfNSW) accredited Bus and Coach operators of a motor vehicle that seats more than 12 adults are permitted access to the facility. 

Registration 

Bus and Coach operators are required to register their vehicle details for automatic recognition in the Licence Plate Recognition System (LPR) by sending the numberplate details via email to kingstwharf@carepark.com.au. Only emails sent from valid company addresses, that include the operator details, ABN and TfNSW Accreditation Number will be accepted. 

Entry and Parking Conditions

Entry will require drivers to proceed to the boom gate and activate the LPR system. Any vehicle not registered will need to request access via the intercom at the facility entrance. Refer to this link for parking conditions (PDF, 118.72 KB). 

If the parking conditions are met, drivers will be directed to a suitable bay appropriate for the size of their vehicle. 

Access to the facility is via Lime Street and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A Facility Manager is onsite during peak times (10:00 am to 6:00 pm). The maximum stay at the facility is 24 hours. 

Drivers are required to follow the reasonable directions of TfNSW and its authorised officers including the Facility Manager. Ongoing access to the facility is at the absolute discretion of TfNSW, and its authorised officers including the Facility Manager.
