Notes: | May be used to replace first Curve Alignment Marker(D4-6) sign in a series of CAMS around a curve where
(i) Advisory Speed is more than 40km/h below 85th percentile approach speed (ii) there are closely spaced reverse curves preceded by a Reverse Curve (W1-4) sign and the 2nd curve has an advisory speed that is at least 15km/h less than advisory speed of first curve (iii) there are a series of closely spaced curves where it is impractical to sign each curve with advance Curve warning and Advisory Speed signs, and the advisory speed of a curve is at least 15km/h less than the preceeding one Except for (iii) D4-7 sign shall NOT replace the requirements for curve warning and advisory speed signs on approach to substandard curves | |||
