Notes: | Use of the No Trucks sign (R6-10- 2), applies to vehicles of 4.5 tonnes or more and applies to all vehicles except buses. A supplementary plate (R9-231n) may be added when a different maximum limit is required. When the restriction is to be used for amenity purposes the sign must be approved through the Local Traffic Committee process. When the sign is being installed to protect the road asset, then LTC advice is not required but Roads and Maritime Services must be notified in writing.
