The NSW Government has improved accessibility at Bexley North Station.

The upgrade was delivered as part of the Transport Access Program, an initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated infrastructure across the state.

Key benefits

  • a new lift and upgraded station entrance, stairs and canopy 
  • reconfigured and upgraded commuter car park including two new accessible parking spaces 
  • new accessible pathways throughout the station precinct, including a new ramp to the commuter car park 
  • a new family accessible toilet and unisex ambulant toilet 
  • improvements to CCTV and lighting.

Project Status

Bexley North Station Upgrade is complete and the station is now accessible, allowing safer, easier and more convenient travel for all customers. 

Customers are able to use the station’s two new lifts and improved accessibility features.

Project History

The Bexley North Station Upgrade Review of Environmental Factors was on public display from 8 to 22 February 2019. The project received 18 submissions in response to the project’s REF. Each submission was considered by the project team and responded to in a Determination Report (PDF, 3.4 MB).

Planning approval has been granted for the Bexley North Station Upgrade.
