Bus changes across Western Sydney
Project overview
As part of Transport’s plan to deliver a better bus network, we are looking for ways to improve bus journeys across Western Sydney.
This includes additional services on key routes, more seats, timetable changes, and route changes to help provide a better-connected public transport experience.

Latest news
Upcoming bus improvements
From Sunday 29 June 2025, there will be timetable changes, more services and increased frequency of services. These changes are focused around the Penrith, St Marys and Blacktown areas.
Key changes include:
- timetable changes, more services and extended operating hours on routes 731, 770, 780 and 794
- all services on bus route 794 will extended to Glenmore Park Town Centre, improving access to local shopping and community services
- selected dedicated school services will be adjusted to better reflect demand and improve student access to bus services in some areas.
