Canley Vale to Warwick Farm Infrastructure Upgrade

The program is designed to simplify and modernise the rail network. Passengers will be able to access more services on a simpler and more reliable network through the delivery of better infrastructure, new trains and extra services.

Project scope

Work to upgrade overhead wiring will occur in and next to the rail corridor between Canley Vale and Warwick Farm. It includes:

  • upgrading electrical cables, overhead wiring and structures 
  • installing new infrastructure in the rail corridor to enable extra services
  • modifying electrical assets and combined service routes
  • completing civil and structural activities for the corridor upgrade.
