Latest news
Jan 2020 - Work completed
We have completed work to improve traffic flow through the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Epping Road by widening Centennial Avenue and adding a left lane on the southern approach to Centennial Avenue.
These upgrades will improve travel times and left turn movements for northbound motorists turning from Centennial Avenue onto Epping and will reduce queue lengths for motorists travelling northbound on Centennial Avenue at Epping Road.
We started work on this project in January 2019 and completed work in late 2019. Thank you to the local community for their patience and support while we undertook this work.

Project information
Background
The NSW Government is funding this intersection upgrade as part of its $300 million Urban Roads Pinch Point Program, which aims to reduce congestion and improve travel times on Sydney's busiest corridors.
Currently around 3800 vehicles an hour travel through the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Epping Road in the morning and afternoon peak periods. Northbound traffic on Centennial Avenue can experience significant delays and queues of more than 400 metres in the morning peak.
