Foot Powered Energy activation

Did you know your footsteps can be transformed into electricity? If you’re walking through the Grand Concourse of Central Station from Wednesday 13 November until Friday 20 December, try out our Foot Powered Energy stand.

The initiative will see an activation installed in Central Station that harnesses the kinetic energy generated when you walk and converts it into clean electricity.

At Transport for NSW, we’re exploring ways to bring together new technology and big ideas to help create a more sustainable future.
