Great Western Highway lane changes and T-Way bus stop relocation, Parramatta
Project overview
The NSW Government will make lane changes at the intersection of Great Western Highway and Pitt Street, Parramatta. To enable these changes, a T-Way bus stop will also be relocated as part of this work.
Transport for NSW will make changes to the Great Western Highway eastbound lanes, and relocate the T-Way bus stop, aiming to improve traffic flow and road safety through the intersection and provide more reliable travel times for bus users and motorists.

Benefits
The work aims to improve traffic flow and road safety through the intersection and provide more reliable travel times for bus users and motorists. The benefits to the community and customers are:
- improve reliability of bus services and reduced travel times
- improved intersection efficiency
- improved signal timing
- easing congestion and improve travel times for all road users during peak periods.
This work will be carried out in two stages.
Stage one work will start from Sunday 18 May and be completed by Friday 27 June 2025. Stage two work is planned to commence in late 2025.
We will notify the community again before we commence stage two work.
