Griffith Station Upgrade
Project overview
The NSW Government has improved accessibility at Griffith Station as part of the Safe Accessible Transport program.
The project has provideda station precinct that is accessible to people with disability, limited mobility, parents/carers with prams and passengers with luggage.
Construction is now completed as of Thursday 28 August 2025.
Key benefits
- New landscaping
- New accessible parking space and kiss and ride zone
- New shelter with accessible seating and wheelchair space and a new canopy
- New accessible ramp and staircase for station access
- New bike ramps
- New accessible bench seating along the station platform
- New boarding assistance zone
- Upgrading lighting, wayfinding and closed-circuit television (CCTV) across the station precinct.
Project status
This project is complete at Griffith Train Station. Community feedback assisted in shaping the detailed designs for the Griffith Station Upgrade.
