Changed traffic conditions on the Newell Highway between Moree and Goondiwindi for maintenance work.

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Newell Highway between Moree and Goondiwindi from today until 6 October 2021 for road maintenance works.
Work includes heavy patching and will start 45 kilometres south of Goondiwindi and will continue along the highway in various sections to 19 kilometres north of Moree.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 5pm on Saturdays and is expected to take up to 12 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Traffic control including single lane closures, intermittent stopping and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of motorists and workers.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
