Woollahra Station Activation
Project overview
The NSW Government is progressing plans for a new train station at Woollahra, located on the T4 Eastern Suburbs Line, to improve accessibility, safety and connectivity for passengers. A station was first proposed and partially constructed at this location in the 1970s but was never completed.
The new Woollahra Station will build on those earlier plans and support the delivery of up to 10,000 new homes through a state-led rezoning around Woollahra and Edgecliff stations. This includes a dedicated portion of affordable housing, helping to address housing affordability and support a diverse local community.
The project will deliver Sydney’s first new train station in more than a decade, supporting the NSW Government’s commitment to build more homes close to jobs, public transport and essential services.
