Yennora Rail Access
Project overview
Transport for NSW upgraded the rail signalling systems at Yennora to improve network reliability for freight and passenger services on the Old Main Line.

Improving rail access at Yennora will:
- Increase customer safety
- Support increased growth in rail patronage
- Increase flexibility in rail operations and
- Reduce conflict and delays on the network.
Key features
The key features of the project include a signalling upgrade and improved safety for pedestrians and cyclists with the installation of an active level crossing at Military Road and the Parramatta to Liverpool Cycleway.
Project status
The Yennora Rail Access project commenced construction in February 2017 and was completed in August 2017.
