Opportunities for artists
Transport puts out calls for artists as opportunities arise. These would be advertised in the art media including Arts Hub and others. Artists wishing to be involved in future projects are advised to respond to the specific advertisements.
Public Art Guidelines
The Public Art in Transport Infrastructure (2024) guidelines provide inspiration and guidance, enabling transport design teams, stakeholders and artists to integrate permanent creative solutions into a broad range of contexts.
The guidelines also offer logical processes to inform the planning and delivery of public art at each step of a capital project’s lifecycle.
Ultimately, these guidelines assist Transport to deliver public art within project budget, scope and site specifications, while managing risk in the delivery, public experience and maintenance of public art.
