Panania Station Upgrade
Project overview
Transport for NSW improved accessibility at Panania Station for people with disabilities, limited mobility, parents with prams, and tourists with luggage.
Key benefits
- Three new lifts and stairs, new canopies for weather protection, and new wayfinding signage
- Refurbishment of the heritage platform building to include new toilet facilities
- Improvements to bicycle facilities, interchanges areas, lighting and CCTV surveillance.
Project status
From 7am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday 22 and 23 September 2018 there will be minor finishing works at Panania Station. The works include completion of cladding on the footbridge and roofing and removal of excess ballast within the rail corridor. The equipment will be in the rail corridor off Anderson Avenue. The footbridge will remain open to pedestrians during this time.
