Under the Transport Access Program, Transport for NSW has completed statewide accessibility upgrades and constructed new commuter car parks.

Transport for NSW (TAP) has completed accessibility upgrades and constructed new commuter car parks across the state, under the Transport Access Program.

Completed projects are listed below in alphabetical order by suburb/city/town.

Albion Park: Transport Interchange Upgrade

  • Redesigning and regrading of the ramp on the western side of the station to make it wheelchair compliant.
  • Pedestrian access to the western side bus stop on the Princes Highway.
  • More user friendly bicycle parking facility.

Allawah: Transport Interchange Upgrade

Arncliffe Pedestrian Link

Auburn: Transport Interchange Upgrade

Austinmer Station Access Upgrade

Balmain East: Transport Interchange Upgrade

Bankstown Station Upgrade

Baulkham Hills: New Commuter Car Park and Transport Interchange Upgrade

Blacktown: New Commuter Car Park

Intersectional improvement

Epping: Transport Interchange Upgrade

  • Upgrading the footpath on the western side of Beecroft Road (north of Epping Hotel).
  • Renewing road, pavement, kerb and guttering.

Fairfield: Transport Interchange Upgrade

Key benefits

  • Reconfiguring the bus interchange into the commuter car park previously at the intersection of The Crescent and Court Road.
  • Designated 'Kiss and Ride' area for passenger pick up and drop off on the westbound lane of The Crescent.
  • Relocating the taxi rank to the eastbound lane at the western end of The Crescent.
  • Relocating the signalised pedestrian crossing and creating a new zebra pedestrian crossing on The Crescent.

The Glenfield Commuter Car Park was delivered as part of the South West Rail Link.

Seddon Park Commuter Car Park

  • Update of the car park at Seddon Park with the entrance off Salisbury Avenue, Glenfield.
  • 117 new parking spaces for commuters using Glenfield Station.

Gordon: New Commuter Car Parks and Interchange

  • The upgraded Werona Avenue Commuter Car Park provided over 130 commuter parking spaces.
  • On the western side of Gordon Station, off Henry Street, the new commuter car park and Interchange provides 214 commuter parking spaces, including 5 accessible parking spaces.

Gosford: New Commuter Car Parks

Goulburn Station Upgrade
