Oatley Station Upgrade
Project overview
Transport for NSW is has made changes at Oatley Station to improve access for customers.
Key benefits
The project includes:
- New lift and stair access to Oatley Parade, Mulga Road and the station platforms, new station forecourts on Oatley Parade and Mulga Road, a new pedestrian footbridge,
- Canopy extensions to provide weather protection and an accessible toilet on the platform
- Reconfiguration of kiss and ride, accessible parking, taxi and bus stops locations, additional cycle storage, lighting, CCTV surveillance cameras and new wayfinding signage
- A commuter car park with 100 spaces.
The Oatley Station Upgrade was completed and opened to the public on 22 January 2017. Transport for NSW has also undertaken proactive maintenance work across multiple sites. This initiative includes the changes to ceilings and canopies at Oatley Station. These works were completed in August 2018.
