Blacktown Station Upgrade
Project overview
Transport for NSW has upgraded Blacktown Station to reduce congestion and to increase capacity as customer demand grows.
Key benefits
The upgrade includes:
- A pedestrian footbridge connecting the Richmond Line concourse with the main concourse area
- Lift and stairs connecting Platform 3 with the new footbridge
- Stairs and weather protection canopies to platforms 1 and 2
- Changes to station facilities to improve customer flow
New facilities now available
New station facilities are now available to customers including:
- New pedestrian footbridge connecting the Richmond Line concourse with the main concourse
- New lift and stairs connecting Platform 3 to the new footbridge
- New stairs, upgraded lift and weather protection canopies on platforms 1 and 2.
