Badgerys Creek Road surface improvements
Project overview
Minor improvements are planned along 5.5kms of Badgerys Creek Road between The Northern Road at Bringelly and the Pitt Street roundabout. This will include repairing the existing road surface, new line markings, a review of signage, and reducing the speed limit from 80km/h to 60km/h.

This work will support bus movements to improve safety as part of the New Bus Services for Western Sydney, by providing safer and better journeys for all road users including bus drivers and passengers. These improvements will also support accessibility and safety for proposed development activity along the corridor.
Funding
$15 million, funded from the New Bus Services for Western Sydney program.
Background
Transport for NSW (Transport) is committed to enhancing road safety and travel efficiency for all road users through essential road surface improvements. These upgrades will focus on repairing potholes across key areas, providing a smoother and safer experience for both motorists and passengers.
We are also reviewing bus routes and stops in high-traffic areas to ensure continued accessibility and safety. The application of smooth, durable road surfaces will help reduce wear on buses and improve safety for passengers at stops.
Additionally, new speed limit reductions will be introduced, reflecting the improved road conditions to support safer, more efficient journeys.
