- The middle northbound lane on Canterbury Road was changed to a shared through and right turn.
- An existing pedestrian fence and signs on the eastern side of Canterbury Road were removed.
- The existing the left-turn slip lane on Old Canterbury Road and the existing pedestrian refuge island were removed
- Right turns from Canterbury Road onto Wattle Lane were prohibited to improve safety.
- Extending the ‘No Stopping’ zones on New Canterbury Road and Old Canterbury Road, and extending morning peak traffic restrictions to improve traffic flow.
