Changed traffic conditions on Bells Line of Road - Notifications - West Region Projects

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Bells Line of Road at Mount Tomah as the road reopens to two lanes of traffic this morning.

Traffic control and reduced speed limits of 40 km/h will remain in place 24 hours per day for the safety of motorists and workers.

These conditions are expected to remain in place for the foreseeable future. Investigation work is continuing with slopes remaining susceptible to change and subject to weather conditions.

Additional work to permanently stabilise the slopes will be required at a later date and traffic impacts will be advised once known.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow an additional five minutes travel time and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
