Changed traffic conditions on Wilangee Road - Notifications - West Region Projects

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Wilangee Road near Silverton for filming activities on a number of days between Monday 16 May and Thursday 23 June.

For the safety of the film crews and motorists, road closures will be in place, including access to Mundi Mundi Lookout between 5:00am and 8:00pm on the following days:

  • Monday, 16 May
  • Tuesday, 17 May
  • Friday, 27 May
  • Monday, 30 May
  • Wednesday, 1 June
  • Thursday, 23 June

Access for local traffic and emergency services will be maintained, however local motorists will experience delays as they will be stopped prior to the site on Wilangee Road.

Motorists should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and VMS, including reduced speed limits.
