Jun 2022 - Noise treatment work inspections to start

Transport for NSW is planning to start noise treatment work at some businesses and residences in Moama’s Francis Street.

The project follows consultation with property owners last year around the installation of traffic lights at the Cobb Highway intersection as part of the Echuca-Moama Bridge project.

Transport has appointed a contractor to carry out the noise treatment work.

Project Manager with Master Building Solutions Pty Ltd, Michael Comito, and noise advisory consultant, James Dunstan, will be in contact soon to book a site inspection.

Inspections and pre-work checks are planned to start mid-July with physical work to follow after materials are ordered and delivered to site.

Transport expects work to be finished in November 2022, weather permitting and subject to availability of materials.

Property owners will be kept updated if this schedule changes.
