Project status
Planning and concept design development is under way for an upgrade at Kendall Station.
Before we get started
Before preparing the concept design for Kendall Station, Transport for NSW will be engaging with various groups including people with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and women and girls from the local community.
These engagements will include specific engagement with women and children to understand women and children’s perceptions of safety, and collaborative Connecting with Country events to understand the unique and enduring relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their ancestral lands, waters and natural resources.
Transport will be engaging with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and will continue discussions with stakeholders to seek feedback on the concept design and precinct improvements.
Have your say
We are seeking initial feedback from the community, passengers and key stakeholders on the concept design.
Help shape the design of your station
Transport for NSW wants local people with disability and carers to get involved, provide input and see how the station design develops through a series of workshops that will be hosted online.
Please register your interest in contributing by visiting the Have your say page, and we will be in touch with further details.
Women and children’s safety
If you’re a woman, or a parent of children, we want to know what makes you feel safe, and what improvements could be taken to make the area feel safer, particularly after dark. Tell us what you think by visiting the Have your say page.
Your feedback will help Transport understand what is important to passengers and the community.
