Kingsgrove to Beverly Hills Asset Rationalisation
Project overview
The program is designed to simplify and modernise the rail network. Passengers will be able to access more services on a simpler and more reliable network through the delivery of better infrastructure, new trains and extra services.
Project scope
- replacing overhead wiring and signalling equipment
- removing approximately 200m of unused track to declutter and simplify the network
- installing modern infrastructure to improve services.
Customer benefits
- More services for Airport stations on the T8 Airport Line, and space for more passengers during peak hour on the T8 Airport & South Line.
Project status
We completed this project in February 2022.
