Movement and Place assessment

As part of the project’s early planning stage, a Movement and Place assessment is underway, which aims to consider how the community, businesses and visitors move in and around the area.

A key objective of the project is to investigate ways to improve safety, reduce congestion and improve travel times and amenity within the Nowra-Bomaderry area.

As part of Movement and Place, consideration will also be given to how Nowra-Bomaderry and surrounding villages remain vibrant, attractive and thriving communities with multiple transport options.

Community drop-in sessions

Community drop-in sessions were held in October 2023, and these sessions allowed for discussions and valuable feedback to be provided to the project team.

Sessions were held at the Shoalhaven River Festival Nowra Stockland Shopping Centre, the Spring into Sanctuary Point Festival and at Noah’s Challenge (family open day).
