Community engagement
Transport for NSW invited feedback in March and April 2016 on the proposal to build a pedestrian bridge on Pennant Hills Road, North Parramatta near Masons Drive.
We received feedback from 45 people, with the majority in favour of the proposal. There were 24 people in support of the pedestrian bridge, 15 people opposed the proposal and six people did not state a preference.
After considering all responses, along with the proposal’s aims and design requirements, Transport for NSW decided to proceed with the project having modified the bridge colour to highlight the main arch structure.
Transport for NSW would like to thank everyone who took the time to provide feedback throughout this project.
