Transport for NSW has prepared a maritime infrastructure options plan for future usage of Sydney Cove waterway and wharf facilities as well as for Piers 1 and 2/3 Walsh Bay and Man O’War Steps.

Background
The plan makes infrastructure and usage recommendations for the optimum design and utilisation of these facilities by charter and tourist vessels, water taxis and superyachts, which use the waterway in conjunction with regular ferries and large cruise liners.
Following the development of funding options, the plan, in conjunction with a plan for future development and operation of the Circular Quay commuter wharves, is subject to Cabinet approval prior to release.
