Investigation work at Paytens Bridge - Notifications - West Region Projects

Reviewed

Project overview

The NSW Government is providing $250,000 development funding to investigate options for a new concrete bridge.

Map

Transport for NSW is carrying out preliminary investigation work, which includes survey and drilling boreholes next to the Lachlan River to assess ground conditions for future bridge work.

How will the work affect you?

The work will involve the use of machinery which may generate some noise. Where possible, we will make every effort to minimise noise impacts by arranging the work in stages and turning off machinery when not in use.

Traffic changes

There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the work zone is safe.

A 40km/h speed limit will be in place during work hours and may affect travel times.

Motorists should allow up to five minutes extra travel time during this work.

Please keep to speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs. For the latest traffic updates, you can call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App.
