Mitchell Highway, The Rocks night work detour - Notifications - West Region Projects

Transport for NSW will carry out the work, which includes repairing and replacing the road surface. We have included a map to show the location of the project.

We will be working between 8pm and 5am from Sunday 21 August to Thursday 25 August and expect to complete the work in five nights, weather permitting. We will let you know in advance if we need to do any
work outside these times.

How will the work affect you?

The work will involve the use of machinery which generates some noise. We will make every effort to minimise noise by completing noisier activities earlier in the night and turning off machinery and vehicles when
not in use.

Traffic changes

There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the work zone is safe.

During work hours, all traffic will be diverted on the Mid Western Highway via Blayney which will add an additional 15 minutes to travel times.
