reVITALise

The reVITALise program is a series of state-wide community-driven demonstration projects that support best-practice placemaking and attachment to place. The program aims to trial creative place approaches, increase community’s perceptions of safety, encourage active transport, and improve walkability.

reVITALise 2023 - Creative Lighting

reVITALise – Creative Lighting transformed five walkways as part of the Sydney WorldPride 2023 Rainbow City initiative, celebrating local identity and creating welcoming and vibrant spaces. The project engaged four local LGBTIQA+ artists, commissioned three temporary light artworks, and one permanent rainbow lighting installation.

reVITALise 2023 - Stanmore Parcels Office

The ‘Art in Transit: Women's Makers Market’ was a trial activation of the vacant Stanmore Station Parcels Office. The 10-day market featured local women artists and makers, showcasing their art, crafts, ceramics, and local produce.

reVITALise 2023 - Glen Innes Railway Station

In collaboration with Glen Innes Severn Council, reVITALise is supporting creative placemaking in the heart of the Glen Innes community.

reVITALise – White Bay Power Station

reVITALise White Bay Power Station, delivered in partnership with Place Management NSW, will create a more vibrant, active and connected precinct.
