Hornsby Commuter Car Park

Project overview

The newly completed Hornsby Commuter Car Park, located on Jersey Road, is now open to the public, providing an additional 140 parking spaces for transport customers. This project was delivered as part of the Commuter Car Park Program.

The Commuter Car Park Program is an NSW Government initiative providing more convenient access to public transport interchanges and help ease congestion on our roads.

Key benefits

• a new at-grade commuter car park with 140 parking spaces
• entry and exit to the car park from Jersey Street
• additional accessible parking spaces provided in the George Street Commuter Car Park
• dedicated pathways connecting to the existing footpath along Jersey Street
• provision for future electric vehicle charging spaces
• Transport Park&Ride infrastructure (Opal operated boom gates)
• CCTV, lighting and wayfinder signs for improved safety and security
• landscaping within the car park.
