Project status

Transport for NSW has completed the upgrade of the West Ryde Commuter Car Park to make it more accessible and easier for customers to access.

Ongoing work

Over the next month, you may notice ongoing finishing work around the station.

Opening Event

On Wednesday 10 November, Transport for NSW hosted an opening event for the West Ryde Commuter Car Park. Supported by our construction partners ADCO, we welcomed the Member for Ryde, Victor Dominello as the first commuter to drive through the upgraded car park and use the new Park&Ride system.

This upgrade has delivered 101 additional spaces to the existing commuter parking available, taking the spaces from 55 to 156 spaces which not only provides better public transport options for commuters but also reduce congestion on our roads.

Commuters will also benefit from four accessible parking spaces and a 12-space bike rack plus new CCTV, lighting, wayfinding signage and rail corridor fencing for improved safety.
