Light rail

  • Sydney Light Rail
    A 12 kilometre light rail network with 19 stops, extending from Circular Quay along George Street to Central Station, through Surry Hills to Moore Park, then to Kensington and Kingsford via Anzac Parade and Randwick via Alison Road and High Street. 
  • Parramatta Light Rail
    A 12-kilometre light rail network with 16 stops will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia for Stage 1 of the Parramatta Light Rail. A preferred route for Stage 2 of the Parramatta Light Rail was announced in October 2017, and will connect to Stage 1 via Parramatta CBD to Ermington, Melrose Park, Wentworth Point and Sydney Olympic Park.
  • Newcastle Light Rail
    Will provide a frequent and reliable travel option throughout the city centre, connect key activity precincts, reinvigorate Hunter and Scott streets, and open up great urban renewal opportunities.

Metro

  • Sydney Metro Northwest
    Delivering eight new railway stations and 4000 commuter car parking spaces to Sydney’s growing North West.
  • Sydney Metro City & Southwest
    A 30-kilometre metro line extending metro rail from the end of Sydney Metro Northwest at Chatswood under Sydney Harbour, through new CBD stations and south west to Bankstown.
  • Sydney Metro West
    Will deliver a direct connection between the CBDs of Parramatta and Sydney, linking communities along the way that have not been previously serviced by rail.

Roads

  • Easing Sydney's Congestion
    The Easing Sydney's Congestion Program Office is working to deliver significant improvements to reduce Sydney's congestion.
  • Greater Sydney
    The Greater Sydney Project Office develops and delivers upgrades to networks and connections in and around Sydney and the Central Coast.
  • Pacific Highway Upgrade
    One of the largest road infrastructure projects in NSW, connecting Sydney and Brisbane and contributing to Australia's economic activity.
  • Regional
    The Regional Project Office has been created to develop and deliver major road infrastructure projects across regional NSW.
  • Western Sydney
    The Western Sydney Project Office is responsible for delivering significant upgrades and expansions of major roads in greater western Sydney.
