We’re partnering with local councils and state agencies on a range of funding programs, spanning from activations and pilots, to legacy and major transformational projects. These programs aim to demonstrate the importance of activated places in supporting vibrant and connected communities.
These partnership programs include our Safer Cities and Places to Love Program which involve collaborating across government to implement place-based initiatives that help create welcoming, inviting and activated places.

Australian Research Council Linkage Grant and Cities & Place Alphabet Program

Business Improvement District Pilot Program
The Business Improvement District Pilot Program will trial BID-led place-making and governance models across NSW.
We supported councils in Greater Sydney most impacted by lockdowns to open streets for community events and activities, re-energising streets and supporting economic recovery in local centres.
